I am co-managing director and CFO of Infinity Boy Records, a Paris-based label. Instead of stacking spreadsheets, I built the tool that runs the label day to day: catalogue, release planning, master management, accounting, and a public site plugged into it.
Context
A label juggles many flows: releases to schedule, masters to share with artists or partners, streaming statements to reconcile, VAT to declare, artist accounts to maintain. The need was a single, private, reliable tool the three partners could use without training.
What I built
- Next.js 16 (App Router) dashboard with Auth.js authentication, user roles, activity log and API key management.
- Accounting module: transactions, streaming statements, artist accounts, VAT computation, exports, and bank movement sync through the Qonto API.
- Master management with secure share links: token, streaming audio player, download, expiry and listening analytics.
- Key-authenticated public API consumed by the showcase site (artists, releases, next release, stats, newsletter), automatic release publishing cron, outgoing webhooks.
- Artwork and audio storage on MinIO (S3), press-kit generation, end-to-end Zod validation.
- Animated showcase site (Framer Motion, aurora background, 3D cards, scrolling discography) honoring prefers-reduced-motion, plus a deterministic video render pipeline (Puppeteer + ffmpeg) for release visuals.
Outcome
The tool is used internally by the label's partners. It is deliberately not public: it is the label's information system, designed and maintained by me.
